Native fish (Koaro) in the Turere Stream, Rimutaka Forest Park. One of the adult forms of Whitebait, these fish can easily climb waterfalls, rocks and other obstacles to get to their breeding grounds high up in clear water mountain streams like those found throughout the Park!
